About us

A community built on faith, guided by sincerity, and open to all.

Our History

Kilkenny Islamic Cultural Centre was established by a dedicated group of Muslim families who recognised the need for a formal, welcoming space for the Muslim community in Kilkenny.

What began as a small gathering of neighbours united by faith has grown into a structured, active community centre that serves Muslims from across the county and beyond.

We have walked a meaningful journey — from shared spaces and rented halls to a dedicated centre that holds daily prayers, community programmes, and vital social services. Our story is one of patience, collective effort, and trust in Allah.
